Sharing our traditions: Sardanes

This is a presentation about sardanes. We showed it to our partners in Pulawy so as they could get to know a bit more about this traditional danced. Afterwards, we danced it all together.

NEXT STOP: POLAND

We are about to travel to Poland!

From October 13th. until October 19th. some students and teachers from our school will fly to Pulawy (Poland) to participate in the third visit of our project.

They will give paper copies of our magazine to the members of the other countries, they'll teach them how to dance sardanes and cook panellets and they'll present some other tasks. Some visits to a recycling plant, Lublin and Warsaw have also been scheduled.

As soon as we're back, we'll update the blog with photos and information.

International workshops

Teachers teaching several subjects (Music, Arts and Science) together with their students were in charge of preparing some workshops about culture and reciclying that were carried out in our school during the visit of the other members. The document attached shows the students in charge of each group and some photos with all the international and Spanish students working.

Desalination Plant

Last April, when we hosted some of th students and teachers from the other schools, we visited a desalination plant in El Prat de Llobregat. A couple of people working there explained to us how it works and why it is important to have it in our area. Here you can see a short presentation about it:
